Maryann L. Reese has accepted an invitation to serve Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) as president and chief executive officer of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.
She will begin on Jan. 17, 2011. “I look forward to partnering with the community, St. Elizabeth’s Board of Directors, and the colleagues at St. Elizabeth’s and HSHS Division (southern Illinois) to serve Belleville and the surrounding area,” Reese said.
She currently serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of both St. Vincent Healthcare System in Billings, Mont., and Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City, Mont. Both systems are sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth.
“We are extremely excited to have Maryann join HSHS and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital,” said Larry P. She began her career as a registered nurse at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. After two years Reese joined Idaho Home Health & Hospice where she served as a case manager registered nurse, then assistant director and ultimately director.
