Metro-east interfaith events planned for november
The Metro-East Interfaith Partnership has planned the following events: The fifth annual interfaith bus tour is scheduled for 2-5 p.m. Nov. 1 to discuss “What Do Our Scriptures Say about Peace?”
The bus tour begins at the Masjid Islamic Center (4525 Old Collinsville Road, Swansea), with additional visits to St. Clare Catholic Church, O’Fallon and Agudas/Achim Synagogue.

In the St. Louis area, the 46th meeting of St. Louis’ Dialogue Group of the World’s Religions and Philosophies will be held from 7-9 p.m. Nov. 15, in the dining hall of Christian Brothers College High School on North Outer Forty Road, just east of the Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The presentations and discussions will be about ritual objects that are used in different religions. The program is free and open to the public.
