Bishop Braxton will ordain one new transitional deacon

On Saturday, May 22, 2010, the Vigil of Pentecost, the Most Rev. Edward K. Braxton will ordain one new deacon at 10:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Belleville.

The ordinand will be a transitional deacon: Mr. Anthony Onyango.

He will be ordained a deacon along with four men who will be ordained priests at the same liturgy.

All of the Christian faithful are invited to participate in the ordination liturgy. Bishop Braxton requests everyone in the diocese to support this candidate for ordination with their prayers.
