St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese opens new building

St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese opened its new Specialty Clinics building Nov. 17.

The building was blessed and open for business one year after construction began on the $1.779 million addition to the hospital.

The additional space was needed because of the increase in the number of patients seen in specialty clinics — up to 1,350 per month this year compared to 1,200 a month last year, according to a hospital spokesperson.
