NCYC: Diocesan Youth Stand Out at National Convention

It was a journey of faith — one of spiritual growth and harmony as more than 23,000 youth from across the United States joined together to pray, sing and reach out to one another Nov. 13-16 at the National Catholic Youth Conference in Houston, Texas.

The theme of the conference was “The River of Life” and the river ran wild through Reliant Stadium as the crowd chanted, “God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.”

The participants’ enthusiasm was contagious — relentless and without reserve. The commitment to faith was inspiring — with voices loud and strong, including the voices of 200 young adults from the Belleville diocese.
