Teens and Parents Thrive at Workshop

Parenting a teen is a two-way street. Respect goes both ways and the direction you take as a parent can determine your child’s future.

Raising a teenager can be, in some ways, like hitting a road block — who is this young adult and what happened to my baby?

Eleven families gathered Oct. 19 at the Diocesan Pastoral Center in Belleville to learn about the journey of parents and teenagers at a workshop entitled, “Welcoming the Teen Years — Thriving, Not Just Surviving.”
