Two Belleville parish sodalities honor their women in military

In remembrance of the upcoming 50th anniversary of Veteran’s Day, the Ladies of Perpetual Help Sodality from St. Teresa’s and St. Luke’s in Belleville met Nov. 4 to honor active-duty military personnel and veterans from their parishes.

Members waved American flags and sang “God Bless America” before reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at their monthly meeting.

The patriotic celebration touched the hearts of many, but hit home with four women from St. Teresa’s who were asked to share their military experiences with the group.
