Diocese begins to respond to lay ministry study

The results are in: People of the Belleville diocese have talked and members of the National Association of Lay Ministry (NALM) listened. Together, they identified seven issues of concern in lay ministry that need to be addressed for the good of the diocesan church and its people.

The conversations were held in early April in the diocese when Linda Perrone Rooney of Winter Haven, Fla., and Ann Garrido of St. Louis met with those who minister in the diocese to find out what concerns them.
