Father Melvin Haas dies Sept. 11

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sept. 15 at St. Augustine Church in Breese for Father Melvin Haas.

Father Haas, 75, died Sept. 11 at Rosewood Care Center in Swansea.

Father Haas had been pastor at St. Augustine’s from 1990 until his retirement in 1998.
